Welcome to Detail Zone Melbourne! These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our services and website. By using our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any transactions or services.

1. Services Provided

Detail Zone Melbourne offers the following services:

  • Car Detailing: Comprehensive exterior and interior car cleaning and protection services.
  • Dashcam Supply & Installation: Sales and installation of dashcams in vehicles.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services at our discretion, and any changes will be reflected here.

2. Booking & Scheduling

  • Appointments: To schedule a service, customers must make a booking via our website, phone, or in-person.
  • Cancellation & Rescheduling: Customers may cancel or reschedule appointments up to 6 hours in advance without penalty. 
  • No Show: If the customer does not show up for a scheduled appointment, they will be charged a no-show fee of $50. 

3. Pricing & Payment

  • Pricing: All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
  • Payment Methods: We accept payment by cash, PayID or bank transfer.
  • Payment Due: Payment is due upon completion of the service.
  • Additional Charges: Customers will be informed of any additional charges before services are performed. Additional charges may apply for special requests, vehicle conditions, or other unforeseen factors.

4. Customer Responsibilities

  • Vehicle Condition: Customers are responsible for ensuring that their vehicle is in a condition that allows for detailing or dashcam installation. We are not liable for damage caused by pre-existing conditions (e.g., rust, cracks, or previous damages).
  • Dashcam Installation: If you are requesting dashcam installation, you are responsible for providing the correct model of dashcam or confirming the compatibility of the dashcam before the installation.
  • Access & Information: Customers must ensure we have access to their vehicle and provide necessary information about any vehicle-specific requirements or features that may affect the service.

5. Limitation of Liability

  • Car Detailing: While we take great care in providing quality detailing services, Detail Zone Melbourne is not responsible for any pre-existing conditions, damages that were not noticeable before the service, or damages caused by external factors post-service.
  • Dashcam Installation: We are not liable for any malfunctions or issues that arise with the dashcam once it has been installed unless caused by an installation error.
  • Force Majeure: Detail Zone Melbourne is not liable for any delays or failure to provide services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, supply chain issues, or technical difficulties.

6. Warranty

  • Car Detailing Services: We provide a satisfaction guarantee for our detailing services. If you are not satisfied with the results, please notify us within 3 days so we can rectify the issue. This warranty does not cover damages caused by weather or misuse.
  • Dashcam Installation & Products: Dashcams and related products come with the manufacturer's warranty. Any issues with the product should be addressed directly with the manufacturer. Installation workmanship is warranted for 6 months following service.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

We respect your privacy. All customer data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with Australian privacy laws. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described in the privacy policy.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Victoria.

11. Modifications to Terms & Conditions

Detail Zone Melbourne reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be reflected on our website, and your continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
